Is it possible to generate a font with parts of a mobile phone? At first, I thought that it seemed a bit abstract. But it is possible, as I realise later on. I work systematically. To begin with I reconstruct a mobile phone by drawing it from different perspectives. In the next step I disassemble the whole object. The result is a huge collection of reconstructed telephone parts. At this point of the process I realise what possibilities this method offers and that its truly possible to construct a font this way. Then the inventory of all parts of this technical object becomes the basis of the development of the font. Finally, I take a closer look at the most fascinating part. From that part I develop the entire font. And here you have it — the Telefont.
